DUBS 2026: Three Full Weeks Under the Big Sky
Our summer intensive expands to a three-week format, July 20 – August 8, with guest faculty Isabella LaFreniere, Carla Stallings, and David Ingram.

*Please note that the studio doors will open at 8:45 a.m. each day. We kindly ask that dancers do not arrive before then.

Sweet Pea Festival Performance
Throughout the intensive, dancers will learn repertory to be performed at a studio showing on Friday, July 31, and for those interested at the Sweet Pea Festival of the Arts on Saturday, August 8, in Lindley Park. Performance details, schedules, and additional information will be sent in the coming weeks.
What to Bring Each Day
- Water bottle
- Healthy snacks to fuel throughout the day
- Lunch
- Cover-ups and warm-ups
- Hair supplies
- Sewing kit (for loose pointe shoe ribbons, elastics, etc.)
- Nail clippers, tape, and Band-Aids
- Notebook and pen
- Black character shoes (please see the link below for purchase options; contact us if you have questions about selecting the appropriate style)
- Ballet slippers
- Pointe shoes (for dancers currently dancing en pointe)
Please label all personal belongings with your name so misplaced items can be returned.

Ladies
Ballet / Pointe / Variations
- Solid-color leotard
- Pink tights
- Pink ballet slippers
- Pointe shoes (if currently on pointe)
- Demi- or pre-pointe shoes (if applicable)
- Optional ballet skirt
Character
- Solid-color leotard
- Pink tights
- Character shoes
- Character skirt (loaner skirts are available for dancers who do not own one)
Conditioning
- T-shirt, shorts, leggings, tank tops, sports tops or warm-ups over ballet attire
- Tennis shoes
- Personal exercise mat optional (studio mats are available)
Contemporary / Pilates / PBT
- Leotard of any color
- Tights or capris (black ok)
- Warm-ups permitted
- Bare feet
- Personal mat optional for Pilates and PBT (studio mats are available)
Hair
Hair should be secured in a neat ballet bun for ballet and character classes and pulled back off the face for all other classes.

- Black jazz shoes, character shoes, or ballet slippers

Helping Us Keep the Studio Beautiful
We appreciate everyone doing their part to keep our studios clean and welcoming throughout the intensive. Please dispose of tape, toe pads, food wrappers, bobby pins, and other personal items properly, and keep your belongings organized. If you have a moment to help sweep or wipe down barres and mirrors at the end of the day, your assistance is always appreciated.
